Individualized Educational Technology
Most intellectually gifted young children struggle when using computer games/programs designed for the masses. Very bright kids generally have asynchronous development, with their intellectual abilities far outreaching their much slower fine motor development, social/emotional skills, and life interests.
Exceptionally bright young children are not miniature teenagers!!!!!…
Since gifted children are so extremely rare, it is not profitable for technology companies to produce software or hardware that accommodates intellectually gifted preschoolers.
Mark Wood has served as University of Vermont Associate Professor of Education specializing in Educational Assistive Technology. He was also Assistive Technology Specialist for The Vermont Department of Education. Mark is up-to-date on the best computerized programs for bright young children. His specialty is developing individualized software for students with unusual educational needs.
Mark would love to design and continually update a technology portfolio that meets the exceptional needs of your precocious preschooler.
